The arts trail page and the final(?)version of the passport has been put on Barry Evans site.

The passport is available on this site on the 'Arts Passport' page

Alternatively go to http://www.trousersofreality.com/artstrail.htm, where you will find the download along with printing and folding instructions.

Note: It is difficult to get things to print exactly. This is why Barry has chosen PDF as a good option since most people on most platforms will open it in Adobe and should get good printing results if they follow the instructions. It is impossible to predict all the printer margins etc so there are bound to have some people who get things cropped or scaled - but hopefully the document has been fixed so that the majority of users will be able to print it out successfully.

Solihull Workshop Leaders

Solihull Arts Development is putting together a database of workshop leaders and art in education workers.

If you work or live in Solihull and its surrounding areas and want to be considered for one off workshops, or work on longer term art projects then you can be added to the database.

We are compiling this workshop leaders bank to enable us to better safeguard arts sessions, help introduce more artists into local schools, support artists to develop their experience and skills and increase the diversity of artists that we work with.

If you know of any other artists that would be interested in joining the bank and are local please pass on my email address and I will send them an application form.

NB: If you are put onto the database we can't guarantee work opportunities. We will offer work as and when it arises.

What is a learning buddy?

Do you support and encourage your neighbours, friends and family, to try learning new things? Are you always interested in learning new things yourself in many different ways?

Then this project is looking for you! Many people don’t have the confidence to learn new things, or don’t realise that you can learn things in many different ways – it doesn’t have to be like being in a classroom!

Becoming involved in this project will give you a brief training course with a qualification, that helps you better understand how people learn, and will give you more skills.

We’ll then give you support to get a local network of like-minded people together. A network that offers encouragement, gives you and other like-minded people a chance to shape and influence learning and training so it suits people like you, and will help move people on. This could offer you an opportunity to progress on to other things as well!

If you are interested, or know someone who might be, contact Denise, Tel: 07980 748470 or Email: info@adept.org.uk
